Key facts
- 59 percent of reporting units are 30-amp, 41 percent 50-amp; in Colorado and California 50-amp is 14 and 15 percent (measured 2026-09-18).
- Median length 32 feet; 55.5 percent are longer than 30 feet.
- 697 of 699 units list a 1 or 2 night minimum; 7.7 percent are flagged for long-term booking. Monthly stays are arranged by phone at the monthly rate.
- Median monthly price $4,185 against $4,650 for 30 nights at the median nightly price.
- 89.4 percent deliver, median stated radius 200 miles; 63.2 percent pet friendly; 5.7 percent have a washer and dryer.
What power does an RV need on a driveway?
Most need a 30-amp TT-30 receptacle within cord reach; four in ten need 50-amp. A household 15 or 20 amp outlet will not run air conditioning and a water heater together.
Ask an electrician for the quote before the adjuster call.
Is there a minimum stay?
Not on the listing. Almost every unit lists one or two nights. The monthly price is arranged by phone with the operator, and it is lower than 30 nightly rates on the same unit.
Will it fit, and will it reach you?
Median length is 32 feet and more than half the fleet is longer than 30. Nine in ten units deliver, with a median stated radius of 200 miles, so count inventory by distance rather than by state.
Does "RV rental insurance" mean my policy pays, or the RV's cover?
Two different things, and both come up in a claim. Your homeowners policy pays under Loss of Use, which is what an adjuster approves. The rental itself carries its own liability and damage cover, arranged by the operator, and that is a separate cost on the booking.
Ask for both in writing. The adjuster wants to see the housing cost; you want to know what the operator’s cover leaves you liable for.
What does it cost?
Median monthly price $4,185 on the measurement date, against $4,650 for 30 nights at the median nightly rate. These are platform list prices, not negotiated claim rates. Three quarters of units price a month at exactly 90 percent of thirty nights, which is a platform default rather than a long-stay rate: what the listed monthly price means has the distribution and the figures by state. A second fleet will be added when its feed is connected.
What does the fleet look like in your state?
Units are grouped by the state where the unit sits. States with fewer than seven located units are omitted from the table and included in the fleet totals.

Questions people ask
- Do I need 50-amp service for an RV on my driveway?
- Usually not. Six in ten units run on 30 amps, so a TT-30 receptacle installed by an electrician within cord reach is the common requirement. A household 15 or 20 amp outlet will not run air conditioning and a water heater together.
- Is there a minimum rental period?
- Almost never on the listing: 99.7 percent of units list one or two nights. The monthly price is arranged directly with the operator, not by booking nights online, and it is lower than 30 nightly rates on the same unit.
- Will insurance pay for an RV as temporary housing?
- It can, as comparable housing, when the adjuster approves it in writing. Approval turns on sleeping capacity, climate control, a kitchen and bathroom, and a lot that can take the unit and the hookups.
- How far will an operator deliver?
- Nine in ten units offer delivery with a median stated radius of 200 miles, and some list much further. Delivery fees are rarely published, so get a written quote for your distance.
- Can I bring a pet?
- About two thirds of units accept pets, but it varies sharply by state, from 100 percent in Arizona to about 20 percent in Tennessee. Ask first in any request.
- Is laundry on board?
- Rarely. About one unit in 18 has a washer and dryer. Budget laundromat costs as a recurring ALE line from the first week.
What to do next
- Measure the pad for a 32-foot unit plus the tow or delivery vehicle, with overhead clearance on the approach.
- Get a written quote for a TT-30 receptacle within cord reach.
- Ask the adjuster in writing whether an RV on your lot qualifies as comparable housing at the monthly rate.
- Ask the operator for the monthly price and the delivery quote in writing before delivery is scheduled.
- Add laundry to the monthly ALE packet as a recurring line.
