RV lot feasibility checklist
Driveway, utilities, HOA, and access checks before you pursue on-lot RV temporary housing.

Site
- Length and width of driveway or side yard for the unit class you need.
- Overhead clearance (trees, wires) for delivery.
- Setbacks from property lines and septic if applicable.
- Surface: level enough for stabilizing jacks; not a mud trap.
Utilities
- 30-amp or 50-amp receptacle within cord range, or a quoted temporary install.
- Potable water access and freeze protection plan.
- Sewer hookup, septic approval, or cassette/pump-out plan.
Rules
- HOA covenants on temporary RVs and duration limits.
- City or county rules after disasters (some jurisdictions loosen, some do not).
- Insurance carrier comfort with on-lot housing for ALE documentation.
If the lot fails, look at monthly pads or furnished housing. If it passes, continue on RV temporary housing and LongTerm RV for booking.
